Shun came to Europe!

Fyi this whole post is backwards since i wasnt paying attention so bear with me.

I picked Shun up in Zurich and we went straight to Sestrier Italy. Skied one day then followed more snow to Gressoney. Skied 2 days with a low viz snowstorm. On the second day I see Rudy who I skied Courmayeur with in the middle station! The world is a village. The next day we show up in the parking lot and low and behold, Giovanni who was skiing with Rudy that day is parked a couple cars away. The next 2 days he showed us around and treated us like gods, giving us first tracks down untouched lines and buying us beers. I love italy!

The 4th day at Monte Rosa, Giovanni and his crew- the swede and bald italian-Helluva crew to say the least

Powder for the people!

the skin up to the line. screw texas, things are bigger in europe!

shun being "blown away"

over to Salza we went, the whole time I was doing my laundry!

Giovanni showed us this line

but the clouds rolled in and low viz prevailed

sweet view

despite the viz we found the goods, all thanks to Giovanni of course

the first couple days the snow wasnt that bad

shun is shorter so he got more faceshots, that SOB

thought about selling this picture to the ski area, but then i just put it up here

ya, so it sucked

oh, and there were sooooooo many people waiting in line for tickets

cars are a little smaller over here

shun enjoyed the hobo lifestyle with me by cooking dinner of the center plaza of gressoney st. jean.

the snowfall the first day

this guys is burned in effigy at the end of Carnivale-case closed on that one

Sistriere, or i mean the space tunnel at station mars

to the beach to cure my ills

One of my last days in Murren leading a grueling bootpack. Andrew and Toby following close behind

But it lead to some amazing terrain. There however wasnt that great of coverage so care was taken.

I got pretty sick a couple nights later and sequestered myself to the red rager to wait it out without spreading the sickness. after day 3 of hell i bought a flight to barcelona to get out of hades and see something different.
on the tram in Geneva there was some local flavor

I soon realized my pants and ski socks were not going to make the cut

Columbus-the man who got lost, was found by some natives, and then got a statue made of him.

So Barcelona is the most art filled city I have ever seen. Around every corner there was something new

The most famous architect here Gaudi-not your regular apartment building

Gaudi

UNREAL GAUDI-I think this will always be under construction simply for the tourist revenue it creates.

the other side of the church that Gaudi actually designed before being run over by a tram.

Fountains for Africa

they even have some extinct animals here, a lot like Canada

no ski socks, what a relief

the bubble man making money and the hearts of kids everywhere

more random art

and more

Not only are plants in the Alps in full bloom but here as well

AND BAMMMMM, i let the canon roar

Thats how planes fly

These guys looked quite serious in contrast to me

The closest i came to a museum was watching the skateboarders rip the front of one up. Even here though skateboarding stops when the 5-0 arrives

No hear, see, talk

a Gaudi rendition

Gaudi is like nothing i have ever seen before

He even designs comfortable benches!

And under them are amazing things you didnt even know you were sitting on top of

Gaudi loves the mosaic, and hence me too

Gaudi is God

even the pigeons like Gaudi

Its like a mixture of Dr. Suess, Nightmare Before Christmas, and an organic smoothie

When i wasnt checking out Gaudi with my new friend Julio we were dominating the pick-up-sticks.

and relaxing at the beach

The coolest DJ booth I have ever seen

Julio-thanks for the fun and good times

Did I ever tell you that I LOVE FACEBOOK! I live for FACEBOOK.
